Gurza: Azirbaijan's Finest

"Gurza" .. Azerbaijan's Dumplings

Different versions of the dish is crafted around Central Asia and The Caucasus. It's called pelmeni in Russia, manti in Turkey, gyoza in Japan, jiaozi in China, and khinkali in Georgia. I do not know where did it originate exactly yet, but I am sure it came from heaven!

Basically, it's steamed dough, stuffed with minced meat. And it's served with yogurt and hot sauce. But the taste is not that simple.

Sometime in the near future, I will publish an article about its origin and share some of the heavenly recipes of different regions.
