Some believe it's the world 8th wonder and others believe it's the next Machu Pichu, these 11 Coptic medieval churches are uniquely designed, carved in rocks, and full of coloured frescoes, manifesting the power of humans' intelligence, strength, and patience.

According to the UNESCO, Biete Medhane Alem, one of the 11 churches, is believed to be the largest monolithic church in the world.
